Ingredients
1 T bay leaf, ground
1 T celery salt
1 T paprika (we love to use smoked paprika)
1–1/2 tsp high-mineral salt
1–1/2 tsp black pepper, ground
1 tsp white pepper, ground
1 tsp ground mustard
1/2 tsp cayenne
1/4 tsp ground ginger
1/8 tsp ground cloves
1/8 tsp ground cinnamon
1/8 tsp mace, ground (can sub nutmeg)
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients into a half-pint sized mason jar.
- Cover and shake until spice colors blend.
- Store with an air-tight lid in a climate-controlled location.
Notes
Makes approximately 1/3 cup of seasoning mix. Double recipe to fill a 1 cup mason jar.
Mix should keep at least six months when stored in an airtight container at room temperature.
